BodyTalk Overview

BodyTalk is a form of alternative healthcare, which draws from many areas of western medicine, advanced yoga, acupuncture, and applied kinesiology.

BodyTalk is a simple and effective holistic therapy based around the simple observation that your body is designed to heal itself at all levels. Each system, cell, and atom is in constant communication with each other at all times. Exposure to the stresses of day-to-day life can compromise these lines of communication. Using the BodyTalk system to reconnect these compromised lines of communication enables the body's internal mechanisms to function at optimal levels, thus rapidly accelerating the body’s natural healing process. Although the concept is simple, safe and non-invasive... the results are fast, effective and amazing.

BodyTalk is completely non-invasive, and absolutely safe.  There are no contraindications to its use.  The BodyTalk Practitioner does not diagnosis illness or disease, and no medications are prescribed.

A BodyTalk Session

The client is advised to wear loose fitting cotton clothing if possible, and may be asked to remove jewelry or belt buckles, anything that may interfere with the session.

For your first visit, we advise you to come in 15-minutes early to fill out an initial intake form, after which your therapist will take you to a relaxing treatment room to begin your session.

A BodyTalk session usually lasts between 15 and 45 minutes. The length of a session is not indicative of the quality of the session or the results that occur. The bodymind knows just how many changes and corrections it is ready to initiate in any given session, and will therefore indicate when the session is complete.

A BodyTalk practitioner using light muscle testing and a comprehensive protocol discovers the relevant issues causing the compromised lines of communication in the bodymind complex. Through the use of light hand contacts and a gentle tapping technique, BodyTalk helps to focus the internal awareness of the bodymind complex on the areas that need better communication and coordination. Sessions are relaxing, gentle and fun... above all, completely non-invasive and safe.

How Many Sessions Will I Need?

Many patients find some change after just one treatment. The number of BodyTalk sessions required will vary from patient to patient according to their circumstances. Two or three BodyTalk sessions are usually sufficient to address the key problem areas and thus ease the symptoms.
